The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change
— Carl Jung

About Me

I’m a Clinical Psychologist with a Master’s degree from Nelson Mandela University and over six years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges. Originally from Iran, I grew up in Uganda before spending 14 years in South Africa, and I returned to Uganda in 2021. This blend of cultures and experiences shapes the way I connect with people from all walks of life.

My Approach

In my work, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through a wide range of struggles—anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, substance use, and self-esteem issues, to name a few. I’ve also worked with those who are simply looking to understand themselves more deeply or create healthier relationships. Whether you’re dealing with past wounds or seeking personal growth, I’m here to help.

I practice from an integrative perspective, combining elements from Transactional Analysis (TA), Person-Centered, Gestalt, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). TA is particularly close to my heart because it empowers clients to deepen their self-awareness and take control of their lives by understanding the patterns in their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It’s a powerful tool for healing and personal growth, allowing people to break free from old scripts and move forward with confidence. I find it so fulfilling to guide my clients through that transformative process.

But for me, it’s not about the techniques—it’s about creating a space where you can be your authentic self. A space where you can feel truly heard, respected, and safe to explore, grow, and heal at your own pace.

Why the Relationship Matters

I believe that every person is much more than their struggles or their diagnosis, and the most important thing in therapy is the relationship we build together. Authenticity is the foundation of that relationship. It’s about me being present with you, and you being present with yourself, without judgment. My goal is to offer a space where you can open up, explore your thoughts and emotions, and feel supported in your journey towards healing and self-discovery.

Working Together

Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply want to deepen your self-awareness, I’m here to walk with you on that journey, offering guidance and support every step of the way.
